How much is my treatment going to cost?
Choosing to seek a private appointment can be a cause of anxiety if you don’t know how much your treatment is going to cost. However, I believe in an open policy and I have a number a standard self pay fees. As varicose veins are the most common problem, my standard fees reflect this. But, until I have had a chance to discuss your symptoms and look at your legs, I am unable to give you an accurate assessment of the potential costs of treatment. For all other treatments, I am happy to issue with a quote so you can decide if you wish to proceed.
These are my standard rates.
Out patients
Initial Consultation: £200
Follow up visits: £90
Varicose vein treatments:
Radiofrequency, laser or Clarivein – single leg under local anaesthetic . The package price is £1850, this includes my fee, all hospital fees and the first follow-up appointment. These treatments are usually performed in the minor operations theatre as a day case. If you require sedation or a general anaesthetic, this will incur an additional hospital cost.
Foam sclerotherapy is performed in the out patient clinic – a 30 minute session costs £300 including hospital charges. You are likely to need at least 2 sessions per leg. You will need to return for a follow-up. (£90)
